Dr. Candice Brady


Dr. Candice Brady is an orthopedic surgeon with an interest in foot and ankle disorders. She completed medical school and orthopedic surgery residency at Michigan State University. After completing residency, she moved to Nevada to pursue a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery under the guidance of Dr. Watson. She is excited to be spending the year in Las Vegas. Please welcome Dr. Brady to the Foot and Ankle Institute at Desert Orthopaedic Center.


Dr. Gustavo Garcia


Dr. Gustavo Garcia was born and raised on the island of St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands. After completing high school, he moved from St. Croix to New York City to attend Columbia University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering. Dr. Garcia then moved to the West Coast to attend medical school at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California. After obtaining his MD from USC, he matriculated into the University of California, San Francisco-Fresno Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program, from which he graduated after 5 years of surgical training. Dr. Garcia then decided to pursue subspecialty training in foot and ankle surgery and was accepted into the Las Vegas Foot and Ankle Fellowship, where he currently trains under the fellowship director, Dr. Troy Watson.

In his free time, Dr. Garcia enjoys the outdoors and cycling. He also has a special interest in botany and Bonsai.


Jessica Ruiz, Medical Assistant
R.M.A.


Jessica has been working in orthopedics for 10 years as a Medical Assistant. She works primarily in clinic with handling incoming phone messages, FMLA/disability paperwork, and custom orthotics. She is trained in casting, dressing changes and applying any device such as walker boots or ankle braces. She is a local having grown up in Boulder City and now resides in Las Vegas with her fiancé and dog, Sebastian. In her spare time, she is an avid quilter and cross-stitcher. Diana Jenkins, Medical Assistant

Diana has been working with Dr. Watson as an orthopedic Medical Assistant lead for 5 years. She oversees the surgical schedule and clinical operations. She also is trained to apply casts, splints, dressings and DME. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her partner, grandchildren and dogs. Keshia Ricamona, Certified Surgical Technologist
C.S.T.


Keshia has been working as a Certified Surgical Technologist for the past 4 years. During our clinic days, she is experienced with giving injections, applying dressings, splints, casts and anything else a patient may need. She also assists Dr. Watson during surgical procedures. Keshia enjoys singing and making music at home. She is married to her partner and together they enjoy going on adventures with their dogs. Brianna Mann, Research Coordinator


Brianna graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She has been volunteering in two research laboratories at UNLV since 2016 and came on board in May of 2018. She was hired to take the place of the exiting Research Coordinator, Madison Hurley who is off to Graduate school. Brianna will be with the Desert Orthopaedic Research Foundation and Dr. Watson for the next couple of years as she prepares for her clinical psychology PhD program. She is in charge of all things related to clinical research here at DOC. In her spare time, she enjoys finding new places to hike around and outside of the city. Grant Beck
D.P.M.


Dr. Beck completed his undergraduate studies at Northern Arizona University. He then completed his podiatric medicine and surgical residency at INOVA Fairfax Medical Campus from the years of 2006-2009. He has actively been practicing podiatric medicine for 8 years all throughout Las Vegas. He joined Dr. Watson in 2017 and treats patients with common foot disorders as well as lower extremity wounds. In his spare time, he loves to play golf, spend time with his three beautiful boys and his wife. Dr. Beck has learned how to become a self-proclaimed barista. Among his many talents, he speaks fluent Korean!
